Class Information
Welcome to PAWSIDEUK!
Public Class information:
Our typical yoga/dance classes are one hour long, divided into two 30 minute segments for guests to be able to thoroughly enjoy both parts of the event.
A typical one-hour event consists of:
- 30 minutes of yoga (comfortable stretches, relaxing breathing techniques and meditation, done in the Pawside way) or 30 minutes dance. Followed on by 30 minutes of quality time with the pups (receiving many cuddles + kisses, playing with our pups and their toys)!
Our aim for all events: To offer you healing and an escape from our busy day to day lives, this is the one of the best ways to unwind if you love yoga/dance or animals or both! We create a little pocket of peace amidst the hustle and bustle of life.
Who are our events taught by: Our classes are taught by our careful selected, fully qualified and trained yoga teachers, whom we work with closely to keep improving the quality of our events.
What about puppy poopey and wee mess: Although the puppies are being introduced to toileting in the correct areas or on puppy pads, they are still learning and may have little accidents here and there. At our events, our amazing Pawside team members will be there to clean up any mess in an instant. You are more than welcome to bring a spare top or bottoms.
How many puppies will be at my event: The puppy breed and number of the puppies varies depending on the event but typically anywhere from a litter of 5/6 puppies to 10/11.
Can I attend if I’ve never done yoga or dance before: Absolutely! We welcome those of any experience level, whether you are completely new or a seasoned pro.
What should I do if I’m running late to a public event: All of our sessions run on time so that all participants can enjoy the maximum amount of time unwinding yoga and cuddling with their furry friends.
More than 5 minutes late - We would not allow you into the yoga part of the class, you would be politely asked to wait or come back to go into the second part of the class.
What should I do if I’m running late to a private event: Please contact the main contact for your booking to advise so we can implement the necessary steps for your private event.
Are public events ticketed: To do our bit for the environment we avoid the use of paper, we will ask for your first/last name + your order number.
Where are our events mainly held: Our public events are held in London. Typically at our Clapham Junction SW11 or Clerkenwell EC1V studios.
Where are your private events veld?
Anywhere within London. We will always do our best to accommodate with one of our studios best fit for travel purposes of your guests. Equally we can attend your venue/office. We move around our London studios so there isn't a limit on where class can be held. We travel the U.K such as Oxford, Birmingham, Leicester, Milton Keynes, Brighton etc. We often attend Oxford, Manchester and Birmingham. Where we host is not limited to.
Are yoga mats provided: Yoga mats are provided for public classes. This may vary for private bookings, especially if outside of London, please enquire.
Do you have public liability insurance: Absolutely! We have full public liability covering our team, guests within our presence and our puppies!
Can children attend: Yes, over the age of 12+ with a responsible adult for the "open to all/child friendly classes".
Can I attend if I’m pregnant: Disclaimer: if you are pregnant you’ll need to attend yoga after 14 weeks.
Please email us before booking to make us aware and equally if you have made a booking and just found out your pregnant or are attending a hen do or corporate booking etc and are now pregnant, please make us aware.
Depending on your stage of pregnancy you may be able to participate with adjusted movements, we would need to know beforehand so our yoga teacher can understand your needs.
Can I attend if I have injuries: Disclaimer: we would expect you to make your own judgment on whether or not your injury is serious and would affect your ability to do yoga or be in the presence of our pups.
Please do email us before booking to make us aware.
Are you wheelchair friendly: We are as a company, however some studios we use are upstairs and do not have lifts and therefore the class wouldn't be wheelchair friendly. With private bookings, we always ask you to let us know if you have any wheelchair users within your group so we can accommodate, as we have done many times before.
Can I come if I have any animal allergies: No, very sorry. We strictly advise those with allergies towards pets to not attend the class at all.
What happens in the event of an emergency or accident: There are fire exits located within the building, and our team members (who will be present at all times) will be able to guide you to them. Our Pawside team members are first aid trained for hooomans and our fur friends.
What do I need to wear: Usual gym wear or whichever clothing you feel most comfortable doing yoga or dance in.
Is there anywhere for me to change: Our studios vary. Therefore, please come to class already prepared to go into your session. This is also necessary as class needs to start on time in order for you to receive the most from your experience and not disturb any other guests already waiting for their booking to start.
Where are we based: We are based in London, basing ourselves at multiple studios and venues depending on our booking type whether this be for a public class or private booking. We are always near to a train station for travel convivence of our guests. We also travel around the U.K. for private bookings with additional fees added.
Ticket policies:
Although we are confident in running all of our events, we are always aware that the current government guidelines could change.
If we have to cancel because of government guidance or for any reason our events cannot go ahead for reasons beyond our control e.g. weather or for the puppies safety, we will issue you a credit note, to book another class where available. We aim to give you at least one-two weeks notice.
All ticket types are non-refundable, including gift cards and class passes.
Please also take care when booking tickets and avoid booking too many as we do not refund. You may transfer your ticket to a friend or loved one, however you will be required to inform us via email.
Please note that after your purchase you will be sent your booking confirmation email -- this acts as your ticket. We may ask for your first name and last name which you booked with at the door.
We welcome you to have a wonderful and pawsome experience!
